Place Observed:  Surda

Number of Soldiers Present:  Five soldiers at checkpoint, APC visable on hill.

Events Witnessed:

Most vehicle and pedestrian traffic permitted through.  Vehicles traveling from Ramallah toward Surda are searched thoroughly.  Ransom young men are checked both ways.  Checkpoint was calm and entire time passed without serious incident.
