This is Quebec City. Well, no. We can't say that.

Let's say this is the painstakingly touristic old city of Quebec in the immediate vicinity—and we're talking a 400-metre radius—of the gilded doors of the Chateau Frontenac on a cold, rainy day in July when the only reason you have to go outside is to test-drive your new EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens.

Let's say these photographs represent a casual reference to Quebec City, much as walking the loop from hotel to boardwalk, street, shore, funiculaire and dépanneur represents a casual reference to photography.

Yes, for the sake of brevity, let's say that.

Or let's say this:

Ça c'est la ville de Québec. Oui, la vraie ville.
